Android Tower Defense Games in the US: Q2 2024 Performance Review

In the second quarter of 2024, the tower defense genre continued to engage Android users in the US. Sensor Tower's latest data provides us with a snapshot of how the leading games in this category fared during this period.

Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX showed a steady trend in downloads, starting at 233K in the first week of April and peaking at 231K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 2.1M to just over 2M, indicating a consistent player base throughout the quarter.

Plants vs. Zombies™ experienced a fluctuating revenue stream, with a notable dip to zero in mid-April but recovering to 28K by late June. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight increase from 178K to 203K, and weekly active users hovered around the 1M mark.

Fight For America: Country War saw its revenue peak at 63K in early May, with a generally upward trend ending at 45K. Downloads hit their highest at 343K in early May, while weekly active users peaked at 1.1M, later stabilizing around 700K.

BangBang Survivor, a newer entry, had an impressive revenue growth from 56K to 725K in just under two months. Downloads started strong at 544K but saw a decrease to 142K, while active users showed a healthy increase from 430K to 567K.

Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD led the revenue charts with 1.9M at the start of April, peaking at 3.1M mid-quarter, and closing at 2.6M. Downloads saw a decline from 267K to 139K, with weekly active users maintaining above 2.2M throughout the quarter.
